Final youth hunt.

Went out for my final youth hunt yesterday morning. At about 7:20 a.m. we spotted our first deer, 2 doe. I wasn't going to shoot any doe on this hunt. Only 15 minutes later my dad spots a buck about 70 yards in front of us. I quickly raise my gun up and find it in my optics. It is standing behind a tree with only it's rear end showing. I wait him out and when he steps out I identify that he is indeed a nice looking buck so I take the shot. The shot was a little higher than I expected to hit but it did the job. As we approached the deer we found it to be a nice looking 5 pt. Sure, not many points, but a big body and wide rack! It took my dad and I to drag him out of the woods. Luckily we didn't have far to go! When we took it to he processor later in the day it was the 8th one in and the biggest one in. My final youth hunt was a memory to be made.
